Where are recreation day use fees charged? 

Northwest Forest Passes (Oregon & Washington)

  • Day Pass

    National Forest Day Pass ($5) - Day use pass honored at some (but not all) Mt. Hood National Forest recreation sites where a day-use fee is required.

  • Annual Pass

    Annual Northwest Forest Pass ($30) - Annual pass honored at most (but not all) Mt. Hood National Forest recreation sites where a day-use fee is required.

Interagency Passes 

To ensure consistency and fairness among all Interagency Passes, and to reduce fraudulent misuse, the second signature line has been removed from the Interagency Annual Passes effective January 1, 2024. All Interagency Annual Passes sold on or after this date will have one signature line for a single passholder. 

  • 4th Grade Pass

    (Free) - For current 4th grade students.

  • Annual Pass

    ($80) -  For anyone to purchase, valid for 12 months.

  • Senior Lifetime Pass

    ($80) - For those age 62 or older. Valid for the lifetime of the passholder.

  • Annual Senior Pass

    ($20) - For those age 62 or older. Valid for one year from month of purchase. A Senior Annual Pass may be applied towards the purchase of a Senior Lifetime Pass. 

  • Access Pass

  • Annual & Lifetime Military Pass

    (Free) - For active military personnel and their dependents or veterans. Annual Pass: Available to current U.S. Military and Dependents. Valid for 12 months. Lifetime Pass: Available to Gold Star Families and Veterans. Valid for pass holder's lifetime. (Gold Star Vouchers are still accepted.)
